Chanthaburi World Gem Show
Held annually from the 8th December to 12 December in the Chanthaburi Gems Center at the KP Grand Hotel. Well known and visited by international gemstone traders. The exhibition is open for all and well worth a visit if one happens to be in the city.

King Taksin commemorative Fair
Held annually from the 28th December to the 3rd January, at the Chanthaburi stadium, in honor of King Taksin the great, who restored the country's independence, by ending the Burmese occupation (1767). Activities including the 'Miss Chanthaburi' beauty pageant, market, carrousels, food stalls and lot's of game and fun booths. The proceeds go the the red cross.

Soi Dao Festival
At the end of the year, the festival of Soi Dao District is held with interesting activities including Soi Dao mini marathon, mountain bike race, agricultural product exhibition, fruit market, OTOP (One Tambon One Product) bazaar and traditional performances.
