Chao Lao and Leam Sadet are clearly the longest and nicest beaches
in the province, together stretching over 8 kilometers, below is
a small map of Chao Lao and Laem Sadet. The beach slopes very gently
and is therefore ideal for children, the water is clean and clear
during the season (Nov. - Mar.). Khung Wiman is about 11 Kilometers
to the west of Chao Lao and the smallest beach out of the three
and, unfortunately, the only one with some tricky underwater currents.
But Khung Wiman is also far more peaceful then Laem Sing and Chao
Lao, ideal for people who want to relax. The exception, on all three
beaches, are the weekends, when Thai's from the region, Bangkok
and the north come to Chanthaburi for their weekend holidays at
the beaches here.
